Abstract
Epidermal cyst is a benign cyst filled with keratin fibers, and its wall has nearly the same characteristics as the epidermis. It is commonly seen in the skin and has the tendency to slowly grow toward deeper epidermis parts and to cause cystic expansion. One of the most frequent causes of epidermal inclusion cysts is trauma involving the epidermis with subsequent implantation of epidermal cells into the dermis or subcutis. Epidermal cyst formation following ear surgery was reported in a few cases around the world. Therefore, we present the case report of epidermal cyst formation following ear surgery.
